i went out today. it was a happy day as i finally get to see the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the pusat sains negara. went to see it with cruiserguy (as mojax cant make it..he'd rather be in genting. your loss! hehe) and met sherry ventig who worked part-time there.
we saw pretty much most of the da vinci's inventions (i dont know if all of them were exhibited there), and i have to say im very impressed. although cruiserguy decided to prove that da vinci's not so great after all, i still think he's got something genius. haha.
anyways, we got a little bit of that da vinci charm as we managed to solve the 'bridge' challenge. we had to remake a replica of a bridge that da vinci designed using sticks that came in two different lengths. we breezed through it like it was nobody's business and even took photos with it.
by that time, the place had to be closed. sherry brought us to hartamas and had food and discussed about all serious stuff possible to be talked about over food. it was headache fun, as it got pretty serious but i was sort of relieved to be able to feel comfortable talking about those shits with these people.
overall, i got to meet Mona Lisa face-to-face (in the painting lahh) and her gaze still followed me back. her smile, remains a mystery.

It's weird though that some historians think that the mona lisa was a man in a wig..or the imaginary of what da vinci himself looked like as a woman..now i'm not stating this as a fact but it makes you wonder, if you were to go back in time, could you have identified the sexes..creepy...hahaha
omg yes.. but thats the thing with the modern minds. we think there're conspiracies behind everything. we find the need to prove something is different than it might seem. the crave to reveal and discover. haha. but yeah, there are lots of secrets of the mona lisa. i just hated the fact that she looked so serene, too serene in fact, that if you separate just the eyes from the face, it looked dark and mysterious..
Its human nature to dig and discover..curiosity of the unknown..thats why there are science..i think..haha..but then again it could have all been a misunderstanding..da vinci never got the realism of the painting..which would be such a killjoy..haha..be it a mysterious facial expression or a lack of talent, mona lisa somehow symbolizes an age where innovations was the way forward...(looks like i can crap too!..haha..)
